ProMaster batteries are a high-quality, long-lasting power source for your camera. Here’s what makes ProMaster batteries stand out:

Premium components.
Battery components are produced in a range of quality levels. Some are excellent, and others are frankly sub-par. ProMaster batteries use the best quality cells available to create dependable batteries with a long service life. Yes, we could save some money by using lackluster components, but instead we choose to use the very best cells available for every battery we produce.

True compatibility.
Other manufacturers use partially decoded chips that can produce errors with certain cameras or firmware editions; when a battery’s chip is only partially decoded, it also may not work properly or at all with your camera’s included charger or when using in-camera charging. All ProMaster batteries use chips that are fully compatible with the cameras listed in our specifications.

Honest specs.
Did you know that many other battery brands overrate their capacities by as much as 20%? ProMaster stands by our stated capacities, which are optimized through skilled engineering and verified with rigorous testing and thorough quality control.

Useful packaging.
ProMaster batteries don’t come in throw-away boxes (or worse, blister packaging). They’re packaged in a terrific case that doubles as a protective storage unit. This case ensures that your battery will remain clean and its contacts won’t accidentally touch metal objects or get damaged while being stored or transported.

Safe and sound.
ProMaster batteries use fire-retardant PCBs and have overcharge & over discharge protection, overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection (voltage regulation), and short-circuit protection.

A trusted name.
Brands come and go, but ProMaster has been producing quality photographic products for over 60 years. In fact, ProMaster has been making batteries longer than some camera brands have been around! ProMaster batteries can be found in the finest independently owned photo & video retail stores in the US, UK, Canada, Costa Rica, and Australia.

An excellent warranty.
ProMaster products are guaranteed for one full year against defects in workmanship and materials. If a battery fails within a year of the purchase date, it will be conveniently exchanged at no charge.
