Ilford Multigrade Filters -6 x 6
Ilford Multigrade Filters -6 x 6
Description:

For printing ILFORD MULTIGRADE range of papers on unconverted black-and-white
enlargers, ILFORD have produced complete sets of filters for all contrast grades in half
grade steps. MULTIGRADE filters are supplied in 3 inch and 6 inch square sizes to fit
most enlarger's filter drawers, and as a set of mounted filters for below-lens use with a
filter holder. MULTIGRADE filters do not require any recalculation of exposure times
when changing between grades 0 and 3, grades 4 to 5 simply requiring twice the exposure.

The twelve Multigrade filters are numbered 00-5 in 1/2 steps, with the lowest filter number
corresponding to the softest contrast. Filters are available in sets of filters 8 . 9x8 . 9cm (3
1/2x3 1/2 inches) and 15 . 2x15 . 2cm (6x6 inches). They can be used above or below the
lens and can be cut to fit the enlarger filter drawer. Filter sizes 30x30cm (11 . 8x11 . 8
inches) are available to special order.

Multigrade filters are very easy to use: no complicated calculations are needed when
changing from one filter to another. The exposure time for filters 00-3 1/2 is the same;
that for filters 4-5 is double.

Features:

  • Provide simple contrast control
  • Compatible with all Multigrade papers

CA Proposition 65

Attention to all California residents, Proposition 65 or officially known as, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, to go into effect on August 30, 2018, which changes the information that is required in or on Proposition 65 warnings.

We want you to know and be aware of our product safety and Midwest Photo is taking all of the necessary steps to comply with the applicable safety and health requirements made by this Proposition 65.

WARNING: This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

This disclaimer can be found on the product pages on our website under the Additional Information tab which appears below the product description. It is listed on all product pages to ensure that our customer is aware of the warnings put out by our suppliers so you can know the precautions before purchasing.
