Polar Pro Neutral Density Frame2.0-Hero3/3+
Polar Pro Neutral Density Frame2.0-Hero3/3+
The Neutral Density Frame2.0 filter has been completely redesigned and beefed up for even greater durability. This Frame2.0 filter is for when filming outside the waterproof housing with your GoPro Hero3 or Hero3+ cameras. The Frame2.0 filter is very easy to install, you simply slide it onto the camera lens and you are ready to go.

All new for this edition is new glass which is much better optically and even more durable. The construction of the frame is also much more built including an over mold protecting the glass. The Frame2.0 series is a series designed for shooting outside the housing, where you do not need the waterproof housing, and you are looking for an even sharper video. We shoot most of our ski videos, car videos, and quadcopter videos with the Frame filters.

The most common application we use a Neutral Density filter for is when we want to make moving things blurred. The GoPro Hero3+ has a very high shutter speed so often times when moving fast, nothing is blurred, creating the illusion that you are not moving quickly. For example when in the car the neutral density filter will blur the pavement and it creates the illusion of speed. Another use for the neutral density filter is for aviation, remote control planes, and shooting with quadcopters. The filter reduces the jello-effect which happens when the camera is mounted to vehicles with high vibration.

Possibly the simplest thing to use an ND filter for is just toning down bright scenes. If it is really bright out the Neutral Density filter will reduce some of the blown out highlights and leave you will an even more crisp video.

CA Proposition 65

Attention to all California residents, Proposition 65 or officially known as, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, to go into effect on August 30, 2018, which changes the information that is required in or on Proposition 65 warnings.

We want you to know and be aware of our product safety and Midwest Photo is taking all of the necessary steps to comply with the applicable safety and health requirements made by this Proposition 65.

WARNING: This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

This disclaimer can be found on the product pages on our website under the Additional Information tab which appears below the product description. It is listed on all product pages to ensure that our customer is aware of the warnings put out by our suppliers so you can know the precautions before purchasing.
