Delkin BLACK Story
Delkin BLACK memory cards combine industrial strength & reliability with unparalleled speed, plus a quality guarantee like no other card. Sold only through authorized camera stores that are chosen for their commitment to customer service & knowledgeable staff, this exclusive media is the toughest, most reliable & trustworthy memory cards on the market.

Virtually Unbreakable
Delkin BLACK memory cards are designed to be the strongest memory cards ever built, and are virtually unbreakable. BLACK SD cards utilize a solid molded design where the "brains" of the card are completely sealed inside and protected, making them 3 times stronger than a regular SD card and able to withstand over 45 pounds of force or impact. They, as well as BLACK microSD, also provide protection against water damage and foreign debris, even when fully submerged for up to 72 hours. BLACK CompactFlash cards utilize a molded and anodized metal outer case, which protects them from up to 80 pounds of force or impact. Unlike regular memory cards that use a standard plastic housing that is prone to breakage or damage during normal wear and tear and storage, BLACK memory cards take advantage of stronger materials to protect them from damage over the lifetime of the card.

Ribless, No Write Protection Switch Design
Delkin BLACK SD cards are built with no write-protect switch or plastic ribs that run in between the contacts on the back in order to enhance reliability and ensure functionality. By removing the write-protect switch, the card will never go into read-only mode, which prevents the card from being written to. If the switch of an SD card accidentally breaks off (regardless if it was in the upward position prior to breaking), the files already written to the card can still be accessed and copied off the card, though new data cannot be written to the card. Broken or loose ribs will not affect the card’s functionality, but if they were to break off inside of the device being used (camera or memory card reader) the device could possibly get damaged. Delkin’s redesigned BLACK SD cards ensure a smoother, more trustworthy user experience.

Fast, Flawless Performance
Delkin BLACK memory cards use carefully chosen components to ensure fast, flawless performance in today’s high-end photo and video hosts. BLACK SD and microSD UHS-I (V30) cards are able to capture data at speeds up to 90 MB/s, while BLACK CompactFlash VPG-65 cards take advantage of speeds up to 120 MB/s. Rated Video Speed Class 90 (V90) and utilizing two rows of pins, Delkin BLACK SD UHS-II memory cards boast recording speeds surpassing 250 MB/s for uninterrupted 8K, 4K, 3D, HDR, 360° & high-speed video capture.

Competing CFexpress™ Type B cards boast maximum write speeds of 1400 MB/s, but BLACK CFexpress™ takes things further with minimum sustained sequential write speeds of at least 1400 MB/s (higher depending on capacity). This sustained speed versus potential write speed is what guarantees flawless cinema-quality video capture, including DCI 8K RAW 12-Bit @ 30fps (2600 Mbps) in the Canon R5. Each BLACK memory card is specially designed to ensure peak performance without corruption or error.

Rated for Extreme Temperatures
Whether you’re shooting in the heat of the desert, the frigid temperatures of the arctic, or you just happen to leave your cards in the car on a hot day, rest assured that Delkin BLACK memory cards are rated to withstand extreme temperature variations. BLACK SD and microSD cards are rated for temperature ranges from -13°F to 185°F (-25°C to 85°C), and BLACK CompactFlash cards are rated between 32°F to 158°F (0°C to 70°C).

CA Proposition 65

Attention to all California residents, Proposition 65 or officially known as, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, to go into effect on August 30, 2018, which changes the information that is required in or on Proposition 65 warnings.

We want you to know and be aware of our product safety and Midwest Photo is taking all of the necessary steps to comply with the applicable safety and health requirements made by this Proposition 65.

WARNING: This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

This disclaimer can be found on the product pages on our website under the Additional Information tab which appears below the product description. It is listed on all product pages to ensure that our customer is aware of the warnings put out by our suppliers so you can know the precautions before purchasing.
