Use this receiver with any shoe, handle mount flash or Qflash as a wireless flash sync. When connected to a Qflash (with an FW31 accessory cable) camera TTL information is relayed wirelessly. For wireless shutter, connect a Shutter Release (Motor Drive) Cord from the Receiver FW8R to the camera to release the shutter up to 500 ft. or more. Let Quantum update your existing FreeXwire FW10 to FW10w to perform the same functions as the new FW8R.

Transmitter FW9T Simple Operation

Match up the FW9T with an FW7Q, FW8R or an upgraded FW10w Transceiver. Mount an FW9T Transmitter and FW12 Hot Shoe Adapter to the camera hot shoe to be totally wireless. Or, add a DwR series QTTL adapter to the camera and transmit your camera's TTL exposure information, including f/stop and ISO to the remote Qflash 5d-R.

Slide the Shutter MD Delay switch to the MD position, connect a Shutter Release (Motor Drive) Cord from the Receiver FW8R to the camera shutter release connection activate a camera shutterup to 1000 ft. away.
