All Metz SCA 3002 modules are programmable. As camera models change
versions or new models come out, the photographer can simply have the module
reprogrammed. No more having to trade-in or throw away the modules. Metz
SCA 3002 modules offer even more flexibility than their predecessors in the
SCA 3000 system, including compatibility with E-TTL, 3-D modes, and the
new "High Speed Synchronization" for use with Canon's E-TTL-HSS and
Minolta/Nikon's TTL-HSS system.

Metz SCA 3002 modules are also backwards compatible. They will work with
Metz 32Z/32MZ, 40MZ, and 50MZ series flashes. And, in conjunction with the
SCA 3000C connecting cable, they will work with Metz 45CT/CL
and 60CT-4 flashes.
