InkPress Transparency Film 7 mil,11in. x 17in. 20s sheets
InkPress Transparency Film 7 mil,11in. x 17in. 20s sheets
Transparency Film is a clear polyester substrate for use in most popular inkjet printers,
with dye or pigment inks. It’s special coating allows a short drying time and the
temperature-stable base makes it suitable for a wide range of applications including
indoor and outdoor signage, transparency film emulation or window display. The skilled
printer can increase ink limits (double-print) for maximum density. Students and other
experimenters are using this material to create “digital negatives” -for oversized contact
printing onto darkroom papers such as the platinum process.

Dan Burkholder, originator of the digital negative process and author of "Making Digital
Negatives for Contact Printing" says, "Not only does the Inkpress Transparency Film
make great digital negatives, it's also available in all the sheet sizes, making it perfect for
those who dread cutting sheets from large rolls. Educators should be thrilled with this
Inkpress product."

CA Proposition 65

Attention to all California residents, Proposition 65 or officially known as, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, to go into effect on August 30, 2018, which changes the information that is required in or on Proposition 65 warnings.

We want you to know and be aware of our product safety and Midwest Photo is taking all of the necessary steps to comply with the applicable safety and health requirements made by this Proposition 65.

WARNING: This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

This disclaimer can be found on the product pages on our website under the Additional Information tab which appears below the product description. It is listed on all product pages to ensure that our customer is aware of the warnings put out by our suppliers so you can know the precautions before purchasing.
