The G2285MB is not only ergonomic, but is designed to expand the range of possibilities of Gitzo heads. It takes a standard square plate, which allows the camera to be positioned at a 90° angle. This quick release adapter is also compatible with Gitzo's longer video quick release plate, which is designed to improve off-center distribution of camera weight.
